Mahindra University Celebrates International Yoga Day, Promoting Wellness and Mindfulness:   

Hyderabad, June – Mahindra University Hyderabad campus came alive with the spirit of yoga as it celebrated International Yoga Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The university organized a special event on its premises, bringing together students, staff, and professors to embrace the ancient practice of yoga. 

The event aimed to promote wellness, mindfulness, and the holistic well-being of the university community. Participants gathered in the serene campus ground, creating a tranquil atmosphere for the yoga session led by expert instructors. 

The celebration commenced with a warm welcome from university officials, emphasizing the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy mind and body. Under the guidance of experienced yoga practitioners, participants were introduced to a series of asanas, pranayama techniques, and meditation exercises. The instructors emphasized the importance of correct posture, breathing techniques, and mental focus. 

Students, staff, and professors actively engaged in the yoga session, immersing themselves in the various poses and breathing exercises. The tranquil environment, surrounded by lush greenery, provided the ideal setting for participants to connect with their inner selves and experience the profound benefits of yoga. 

Speaking on the occasion, Sarita the lead yoga expert, said, “Yoga is a journey of self-discovery and inner transformation. It helps individuals cultivate physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional balance. We are delighted to see the enthusiastic participation of the University community in celebrating International Yoga Day.” 

The celebration also included informative sessions on the history, philosophy, and science behind yoga. Participants gained insights into the ancient roots of this holistic practice, deepening their understanding of its profound impact on overall well-being. 

Expressing her gratitude, a student participant shared, “I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful event. The yoga session provided a much-needed respite from our hectic schedules. I feel rejuvenated and motivated to incorporate yoga into my daily routine for a healthier and more balanced life.”
