Police station is well-equipped with modern facilities and will support CyberabadPolice, to effectively deal with safety and security concerns
The State-of-the-art Police Station spans over 21,000 square feet area and iscomposed of 37 rooms
Bachupally, 24th March 2023: Aurobindo Pharma Foundation (APF), the philanthropicand CSR arm of Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, has sponsored Rs. 3.5 Crores to construct thestate-of-the-art modern police station in Bachupally, Telangana.
The police station was inaugurated today by Chief Guest: Sri. Mohammed Mahmood Ali,Hon’ble Minister for Home, Prison’s and Fire Services, Govt. of Telangana State in thepresence of Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Labour, Employment, Woman and Child Welfare of Telangana; Sri.Sunkari Raju, Govt. Whip & Member of Legislative Council, Smt. Vani Devi ,Member of Legislative Council Shambipur Raju, Member of Legislative Council, Sri K. Naveen Rao, Member of Legislative Council, Sri. K.P.Vivekanand, MLA, Qutubullapur Constituency; Sri M. Madan Mohan Reddy, Koleti Damodar, Chairman TSPHC, TS, Director, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd & Sri S. In order to ensure that the 70-lakh population and 700 establishments of Cyberabad Commissionerate, a fast-growing economic hub, receive adequate law and order, earlier a modern police station was proposed to be constructed in the Bachupally area.
Understanding the prerequisites from the police department, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation has come forward to lend supporting hand and sponsored Rs. 3.5 Crores for the construction of this modern police station.Located on the Uragutta hillock in the surroundings of Bachupally Cheruvu, this state-of-the-art Police station spans over 21,000 square feet and is composed of 37 rooms. It is equipped with 10 SI cabins, 2 jail rooms, 2 large resting areas for men and women, a security guard room, Station House Officer (SHO) Rooms on two floors with exclusive resting areas and toilets, 2 writer rooms, a record room, a CC Camera room, and 10 toilets each for men and women, besides a proper kitchen and dining area.Sri. Speaking on the occasion, said I am very happy to open two Police station buildings in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits., Bachupally Police station and Narsingi Police station.The Home Minister said Telangana was number one in the country in policing and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had provided all the latest facilities and equipment to the police to help in maintaining law and order.“The police are performing very well on all fronts in the State. All facilities needed to thepolice department are provided by the State government. A few more police station buildings are under construction and will be inaugurated soon,” he said. In the past, people were afraid to go to the police station. But now there is no such situation. Police are interacting with the public through a friendly police system. Further, the Hon’ble Minister for Home said the police department is working hard to maintain peace and security. The police department has installed CCTV cameras in three commissionerates to curb crime. People from other states are also coming here to check the work being done by the Telangana Police Department. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has released special funds for the police department.

Some of the key contributions include – Setting up CC cameras in different parts of the city, Providing Road Stoppers, and ensuring public safety through fire tenders in industrial areas besides providing sanitation materials and masks to several police during COVID-19.
Aurobindo Pharma Foundation is making a significant contribution to the social security of society by constructing a Bharosa center in Sangareddy.
