Here’s the excerpt of the Interview –

1.     Tell us about your new book the Whispering Star which has gained a huge publicity worldwide translated into various Languages.

Ans- This is my first book of short stories. ‘ The Whispering Star’  revolves around bringing back fallen societal mores to original DNA of Sanatana Dharma which ,if loosely translated into English language would mean ‘Universalism’. The first story in the book narrates how a Pope visiting India discovers truth of all spirituality in words of a young boy. There are two specific stories devoted to describing real life anoobhooti or mystical experience of the Author himself which upholds faith in a Jagatjanani or concept of ‘ Mother Universe ‘. All the other short stories too have helped ignite spark of interest and inculcate personal values for leading a harmonious life in a chaotic world of this age and time. It was published from Europe where it is being well appreciated and has received critical acclaim. #SanatanaDharma is the mantra to reset a bickering world today.

2. What makes you a great poet. What is your genre. What do you have to say on the current state of poetry and literature in Indian continent comparing with global diaspora.

Ans- Spiritual Poetry is invariably my forte and my style of expression though there are a few children’s rhymes and other satirical poetry works I have penned. India has always been home to diverse forms of art and literature. This continues to this day : maybe not all book publishers or segments of readership patronise poetry as a form of mass media communication but the genre deserves qualitative works to become more appealing to society immersed in a social media age.

3.How would you see Literature as the part of the changing society and what’s is contribution in social space.

Ans- Literature has throughout the ages of time helped Mankind turn into an enviable Civilisation of minds. It is the driving force behind every revolution and fall or growth of every society. History remains a living witness. Mindsets of authors of all genres of writing as also that of publishers of works of literature plays a pivotal role. Free minds, free spirits and freedom of expression compete with more vociferous right to speak. The balance struck on this count accounts for change in literature styles and decadence or progress of any society, be it in a democracy or other forms of governance

4. How do you manage time being a terribly busy person as an international Jurist for literature and Poetry?

Ans- Literature is a passion. Law and Policy are professional pursuits. The two twains meet amidst a gruelling work-grind. There lies the test and pleasure: flow of adrenaline and lack of time help bring out best in you without need for notes, drafts and revisions. The outpourings will be more honest although seem brutal for a few who are shown the mirror in political essays.

5. Tell us something about your role in the fabled Nizam matters being the chief counsel of the case.

Ans- It is legal and constitutional history. As the chief counsel of Princess Fatima Fouzia, the eldest grand daughter of the last Nizam of Hyderabad Deccan who was tamed by Sardar Vallabhai Patel, it was a delight to defeat the oneupmanship of her cousin brother Prince Mukkaram Jah who breathed his last last week in Istanbul. Let his misdeeds with nation and his sister remain buried. There is no longer any Nizam nor was he. Self-styled Raja,Nizam and Prince- titles are unconstitutional. Paid-media and cubs who have no link or knowledge of real history of Partition of India or the grandiose schemes which a few wicked legal heirs were up are unaware as to how national wealth was saved by yours truly and via supporing Court judgments. This was possible by my long drawn efforts in courts of law as well as through Parliament and State Legislative bodies. India today is a more mature democracy that is better informed and marching towards becoming a Vishwaguru. This is more clearly spelt out in my first book of essays titled – Vishwaguru India, due for release this Independence Day.
